Hi All
We have been RV'ing for many years now, progressing - small TT, 26' Class C, 31' Class C, and now a 37' 1999 Newmar Mountain Aire (Class A). We are planning a 2 month SnowBird trip to S. CA and AZ.
My hobbies are R/C Gliders and electrics, Full sized Gliders, Ham Radio (K7PEK), and electronics of all kind. The wife does a lot of sewing and crocheting, specializing in making clothes for Barbi dolls.
As a retired Navy Electronics Technician and similiar jobs through the rest of my career, I am a tinkerer by nature. I am finding that a 13 year old MH requires a lot a TLC.

Yep, I would say you probably have a tinkers dream, just hope there aren't too many nightmares.
Welcome to THE best place to find answers and friendship in the RV world. As a new to RVing, just bought a motorhome retired and started traveling fulltimer, I have had the help that has let me be successful from the most wonderful, generous people you will ever find.
There is a vast wealth of information already posted here and a great search engine below the top banner. Never hesitate to ask if you don't find an answer. Somebody has probably run into the same issue.
Safe travels

Hi Wayne! Welcome to IRV2! It's great to have you join us! Congrats on the new rig! We just went to a Class A a few months ago after pulling a 5er for 10 years. You're right, it's a lot to absorb!
I too was in electronics all my life and retired a couple of years ago after owning a sound and security company for 36 years. I was also a Ham operator in my younger days but haven't fooled with it for a long time.
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Wayne, welcome to the forum. I flew R/C for about 28 years and then went full scale. Built 2 full scale. Was an AMH in the Navy...
