Hi Folks

Hello Fellow RVers. My wife and I are actually about 3 1/2 years away from actually RVing. We plan to live and travel full time except for some time at our camp in Maine during the summer. I have researched quite a bit to figure out what camper fits our needs best but I am still confused as to what is best. Most importantly to me is short ( no longer than 32 feet) preferably 30 feet or less. We are leaning toward 5th wheels. Cost is not main concern. I will buy a truck that can safely tow it. I want lightweight as possible but able to withstand some cold weather and hot. Also, boondocking capabilities are a must, but we will spend some time in campgrounds.Any and all suggestions on what to get are greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Daniel

Hope you get what you want . I have been rv'ing for years and look forward to more time on the road when I retire. Lots to see in this great country.

Welcome to the forum.

You are joining a good of folks here with good info to share. Read the various threads here and ask questions as they come up or add info if you can.

You have some time so I would do some serious looking and visit as many RV centers and shows as you can to see what might fit.

Good luck and enjoy the adventure!

Hi Daniel! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined us!

We pulled a 5er for 12 years before getting the MH and loved it! I highly recommend a 5th wheel over a TT for the stability on the road.

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
