Hi folks

We are really new to this world, looking for my first HD truck and then we'll move on to getting our first 5th wheel. We are very excited

Be sure to get enough truck to be safe. Most 5ers need a one ton truck and ones like mine need duallys on a one ton because of the pin weight.

Some very good advice, I have been going back and forth on deciding between the 3/4 and one ton. Since this will be our first RV we are thinking of getting a preowned one and growing from there

.........Good advise on a 1 ton dually, especially for the stability as well as braking. We had a Ford Crew Cab w/7.3 powerstroke, awesome truck and the ride was unbelieavable..... Good luck and travel safe. BTW, welcome to IRV2, jump in anytime.
