Hi for Bellevue, Washington

On Monday, my lovely DW and I took delivery of a lovely 2003 41' Travel Supreme Select in pristine condition. (See pic and gallery link below.) I'm retiring in either June or July, and my honey and I want to start a new adventure. Even though we have minimal experience with RV's we decided to jump into the deep end of the pool. (Now we're paddling like crazy! )

Although I've been posting on the forum for a while, I decided to wait until we had actually purchased a coach before introducing ourselves. That said, I've received massive amounts of great information from the good folks on this forum since I joined. Hopefully I can pay it forward in the coming months.

Before closing, one quick story...

Many of you know about the great reputation of Precision Painting in Bremen, Indiana and Paul Conley. During the coach inspection, the local dealer (in Washington State) found a problem with the Hydro Hot system. So he got on the phone to get feedback from a recognized expert - he called Paul at Precision! Over the phone, Paul figured out the problem in one minute! A few minutes later, the Hydro Hot was fixed!

And, as they say on TV, "But wait. It's gets better!". While hunting around for the coach documentation, the seller DW found the painting information and codes. The coach was painted at Precision Painting. (This may be normal for a Travel Supreme, but it impressed the heck out of me! )

For the last couple of weeks, I've been telling my DW that we may need X-Bracing for the coach and that Precision Painting is best in the business for that. She thought I was crazy for wanting to drive 2,000 miles for service. Now she understands why.

We will be hitting the road on weekend trips starting the weekend of May 31st. We hope to meet you folks out there.

Best regards,

Dan.

Nice looking coach. Welcome aboard and best wishes on those retirement plans, but keep in mind, retirement is a seven day a week job!!

Try and remember the "TRIP" and not the destination is your goal.

Welcome and many happy miles.
