Hi From Austin!

Hi all,

I’m from Austin, TX. Used to camp when I was young and now the wife and I want to get a travel trailer to take our 4 year old camping and make some memories! I’ll try and find the correct thread to post my questions on buying a new travel trailer but if you have any tips I’d love to hear!

Thanks and I look forward to learning!

Hi From Austin!

Here’s my tip. Do it! Some great places within a days drive from Austin, as you probably know. The experiences y’all will have will last you, wife and your 4YO a lifetime. And plan to bolt outta TX in July/Aug and head for the cooler temps. The Santa Fe area is great that time of year. Nice and cool.

Welcome to the forums.

Hi Brad! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Poke around over in the TT area of the forum, ask a lot of questions, and do a lot of tire kicking before making a decision!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
