Hi from Eastern Washington
Let me introduce myself. I'm a women of that certain age, live in eastern Washington with my DH and two dogs. First off, let me explain my name. We are both still working stiffs with little time or extra cash for extended vacations. So why am I here? I am an avid bicycle rider and budding tri-athlete that likes to travel around the PNW to attend events. More times than not, I go one day and am home the next so I only camp one night at a time.
We had a nice older pop-up that I used, but pop-ups are a lot of work for a one night stand. So we sold the pop-up and took the plunge into RV ownership. Well really it's more like a splash. We purchased a 1994 Nomad 5th wheel. It's small, only 19', but will be just right.
My parents were big into RV'ing and through osmosis I/we have learned some of the basics but still have much to learn. DH and I are looking forward to this new chapter in our lives.
We've got lots of questions so I'm off to the vintage RV thread!

I spent some of my "formative years" in Spokane (was born in Seattle) and just north of there, in Newport. That was a number of decades ago.
Don't be shy about asking questions, or in sharing your adventures. We've got a very diverse membership here. Someone's 'been there, done that', or has an interest in doing so.
Happy trails!

Thanks for the welcome. I was in Newport over Labor Day weekend for a bike ride! DH and the dogs met me at a KOA near Diamond Lake. We spent our last over-nighter in the pop-up.

Hello, Fellow Washingtonian!
I'm in the wet half, but do most of my camping East of the Cascades.
I love the country, maybe because it's so different from home...
Welcome to IRV2!
