Hi from Iowa City!
Im new around here and need to introduce myself.
Im a married 47 year old family guy who recently realized Im not getting any younger and need to get away. Explore.. What really intrigues me are remote locations far from others..
I just bought my ultimate cummins e350 tow vehicle and ready to revisit a few spots I found last year. I almost trust my kids to take care of the house.. almost. And tempted to ask for early retirement at the U of I.

Ouch! Do you really want to be out in your remote dream location, but worrying about what is going on at home?  That doesn't sound to me like a recipe for a good time.... What does your wife think?
