Hi from north central Fla.

After lurking on here for some time I finally made the move to join this great forum.

We have a 1988 Champion Ultrastar motor home that we have owned for 2 years. Prior to that we had a 1984 Southwind that we owned for about 5 years (our first motor home).

Most of our trips have been boondocking trips to dragstrips we race at. We are self employed small business owners, so the time we get to be away and enjoy the RVing experience has been limited. We have used our time racing the series we run as our vacation time the last few years. We have managed to take a few weekend trips to St. Augustine and stayed at North Beach which we enjoyed very much. This year we are taking a break from the racing and plan to do more weekend trips to various places around Fla. and maybe south Ga.

Joe & Karen,
Welcome to the forum. When you get over to the panhandle side drop us a note and the coffee on us.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I can tell already that I will gain alot of useful information from this site.

Jim, if we manage to make it out to the panhandle I will surely take you up on your offer as I never turn down a cup of coffee. I have been hoping to pass through the panhandle with our MH and race car for the past 3 years going to race at the Cajun Sportsnationals in La., but those plans haven't come together yet. Maybe one day they will.

If you happen to pass through Williston some time (on US 27 or US 41) be sure to look us up. Just stop and ask anyone in town where the grave stone business is and you will find us. I would say stop in a do some business with us, but hopefully you don't need any of our services any time soon.

Joe & Karen,
I used to go through Williston relatively often back when US 27 the main route between Tallahassee and Hollywood (read late 50s and early 60s). My last pass thru was a couple of years ago. We had camped a few days at Ho Hum in Carrabelle and were taking the scenic route to Lazy Days and points south. If you have time, join us for the Crawfish Festival the end of the month. We'll be staying at Cajun Palms RV Park in Henderson, LA.

Hello and welcome...

We live just outside Jacksonville, Fl. Next time your planning a trip around here give us a shout, would love to join you.
I've had a few fast cars in the past and attempted twice to build a racer but failed both times. It was the old "when I have the time, I don't have the money, and when I have the money, I don't have the time" problem. I recently had to sell my '76 factory V8 Monza that I had since high school because I just didn't have the time and needed the money after losing my a$$ on the market. Now I have nothing fast to drive and have to get my thrills going downhill on a 8% grade at 85mph in a 37ft diesel pusher.
Anyway, welcome to the group, you will find many knowledgeable folks on here willing to help as much as possible.

Welcome...

Post a new thread with your problem and give all the details you can. Include make, model yr of coach and genset (gen model number would help) and even a picture if you think it could help. The folks on here have seen it all and will have you fixed up in a jiffy.
