Hi from Oregon

So here I am, after seeing that there are other "Classic" rigs here and they are not looked down on. I had my '73 Winnebago Indian towed home 5 years ago. After some work (2 years) my wife said "hey this doesn't look so bad".
Then I said, lets take off for a couple of weeks and she said 1 week. After that she was hooked. So far 10,000 miles and we spend most of the past three Summers on the Oregon Coast.
I have other friends who own "Classic" Winnebagos that can be seen on my Blog if you have time to waste.
So thanks for having me, and it's always nice being had. Les

We belong to the Elks, and since my wife found out about the "hookups" we do spend some time at the Elks RV places up and down the coast. Of course being cheap, I can pull into one of the casino lots for a free night of dry camping every now and then.
I tell our kids, both over 21 so not really kids, to look for us somewhere between CA and WA. The again we do like parts of CA and WA.

OUR first MH was a 22 foot Winnie Brave - '76 version - on a Dodge chassis with a 440 gasser - LOTS of power, and 5 MPG all day long, uphill OR down!

Welcome, from John Day, Eastern Oregon...

Nothing wrong with a vintage rig. And welcome to iRV2. Visit the Vintage Forum and post some more photos.

Thank all of you for the kind words. I guess I am one of those strange guy's that really enjoy the old MH's and plan on keeping this one for sometime. But I'm sure that's what others have thought, until that "better deal" comes along. Les
