Get a GPS (tomtom/Rand McNally) your choice designed for trucks, this way you can in put the weight size etc of your Vista and it will route you and appropriate roads. ALSO go to any truck stop and by a Rand McNally Motor Carriers Atlas, this will give you a paper back-up for when the electronic stuff fails.
