Hi there from Georgia!!
I just found this forum and look forward to being part of the community. We are empty nesters now and bought our first TT 3 months ago. No more tent camping for me!! Took me 25 years to talk the Baum Squad Leader into purchasing. I guess I just wore him out

Well hello right back.. Though I am a Michigander and by all plans would be typing this from Michigan... here I am, stuck in Townsend, GA, not going anywhere for 2 or 3 years minimum as things stand.. (That is the depressing part, however now for the uplifting part) at Cathead Creek Ranch RV park, a little 24 site park with no trees but good 50 amp power, Decent Wi-Fi, (no cell coverage but.. Phone uses WI-FI) and ...
A COWBOY CHURCH!!!!!
Just got back from the Thursday evening "Service" which consisted of lots of food (Casserole Night) Some singing (I help) and a short Sermon.
(One I really needed to hear this week trust me.. I had to thank the pastor/owner/landlord/etc)
If you want a short "In-state" trip.. We are 3 miles N.W. of I-95 Exit 49 (Darien mall exit) turn toward the mall, drive right past it, when the road curves right continue on, 3rd driveway on the right (White board fence) NOT THE 2nd drive (Large group pulled in there today) but the 3rd, 1288 Cox Road S.W. Townsend Ga 31331 Thursday Evenings are worth the trip.
(Cowboy churches are non-denominational, And likely vary greatly from place to place, This one believes in Food, and FRIENDSHIP, and well.. All are made very very welcome here... And that is about the highest praise I can give any church.. Does not matter if you are a believer, You WILL be made welcome (Just do not preach against is all).

Welcome from Griffin! I gave up the tent 12 years ago now and haven't looked back. In fact I gave my tent away a few months ago as I have zero plans on tenting again.
