Hidee Ho Neighbors!

Hi guys! I'm new to RVing and am looking forward to connecting with others of y'all out there.

A bit about me... my grandfather (Al Gifford) passed a few months back and I inherited his '88 Pace Arrow (grandma wanted it to stay in the family). I've been considering getting a motor home or trailer for a couple years, but BANG, here it is. I had to have it towed from grandma's house as it had been sitting for about 3 years and my grandpa, even though he was a real decent shade tree mechanic, just couldn't get to the places he needed to in order to repair it. Turns out the pump in the fuel tank was bad, and the gas had gummed up. I had the carb rebuilt, fuel tank figured out, and a few other things to get it up and running. I still have yet to tackle the house side.

I know about 1% of what I need to, but I'm going to get real cozy with this guy. I have real good memories of the motor home with grandpa driving us up to Bishop, CA for fishing vacations, biscuits and gravy, and bluegrass music. I love the smell, the look, the sounds (nothing beats the click of those cupboards closing), and even the tiny bathroom!

Thanks to all of you in advance for any wisdom you can share, and all the wisdom you already have shared. See you around the forum!
