History of a noob

Forum noob, Hi!

My wife and I started with this 1976 Dodge:

Then we bought a 1973 Carpenter pusher school bus from a local bus company. Skoolie!

After 15 years of use the bus was starting to make us nervous, many things were starting to need attention. Also it doesn't go up hills, well unless you have all day. It was hard to sell it, but it's very old.

So we bought something older! 1967 F100 /2018 Capri. Say it with me, epic downsize!

We used the F100/Capri for one summer. It was a bucket of fun but guess what, it won't go up hills either! I'm a slow learner.

The Capri was too small anyway (epic downsize ), so we traded it in for this 2014 F250 / 2019 Palomino. (We kept the '67 f100).

The Palomino has to be the worst made expensive new thing I have ever bought. After some repairs and modifications it has turned out to be supremely functional. The rig is a very good combination, we've been east through the mountains twice now and it's been excellent.
