Home Is Where You Park It
Hey all. My wife and I have enjoyed camping for several years now. First in tents, till one night when someone forgot to put up the rain flap, then moving up to renting cabins. Finally made the commitment today and bought a 06 Starcraft pop up. Figured this was the perfect mix between my tent and her cabin. Like the size, air, heat, galley, bath, most of the comforts of home. Looking forward to taking it out. Anyway, just rambling. Wanted to check in and say hey. So hey.

Welcome - I took my Coleman Taos coast to coast (and back) 3 times in all kinds of weather. I'd still have it if it weren't for the DWs health issues. I Loved the simplicity. I recommend a small ceramic (110V electric) heater - they work for a more even temp than the pop-up’s gas heater. You’ll need a nice fan for hot day/nights as well. Enjoy it and use it – try it out in your yard if you can.
P.S. An electric blanket is also a great addition.

Pop up's have come a long ways since we had one. I hope you use it a lot and see some of the country with it.

welcome and congrats on your new to you pop-up. we had a 2003 coleman utah several years ago and found that if you put a thin sheet of insulation, such as the kind used behind vinyl siding (found at lowes or home depot) under the mattress it made for A more comfortable sleep. I had found that the dampness from the extended bed platform kept the mattress somewhat chilly and feeling damp. Just a suggestion. have some great adventures in your new pop-up.
