Hoping to live the dream...

My wife and I bought our first Class A today ... a Vegas 24.1. We've had a 5th wheel but didn't use it as much as we'd hoped. It was just too much trouble getting it all hooked up. We're hoping this new "RUV" will be easier to jump in and take out for a weekend get-a-way.

We traded our old car in on one we can tow (Chevy Sonic) and drove it across country to get this "adult version of the 1960's conversion van". We hooked it all together and cruised across half of Virginia for our first "adventure". This thing is easy to drive. We love it so far!

Hoping to be active in here and get some great tips on how to live the dream the right way!

Looks like I'll be the first to welcome you and wish you well

This is a busy web site with many participants. You will probably be able to get most any quest answered. Just remember, the problem with opinions is that everybody has one, especially those least qualified! Hahah.

Hi jwagg,

Welcome to the forum! Sounds like you have chosen the right rig for you two. Yes, we like class A's too.

There is a lot of info here but the right way to RV is whatever works for the two of you. Lot's of good advice and some not so much but whatever works for you two is what you use. Sounds like a good future though.

Welcome and have a great time.
