How do you save a trip
I'm pretty good with Google Maps, so I don't understand why I'm haveing trouble with this. It's not open on other screens, browsers of devices. But, for example, the very basic, how do you save a trip?

With your trip active, go to File > Export as PDF

Further to ByeTheWay's suggestion:
- once you have the map on the screen the way you want it, right click anywhere on the map and select Print
- the pop up window may depend on your printer driver
- mine shows "Destination", my printer name, and a dropdown arrow
- clicking on the dropdown gives me a "Save as PDF" choice
That will give you a "static" picture of your map.
If you want to save it as a "google map", do this:
- on the main screen you can click on the Menu "hamburger" icon (3 horiz. lines, top left corner) and select "Share or embed map".
- In the ensuing window, I just use the "copy link" feature, then paste it into an email to myself. That way I don't have to start all over if I want to modify the route.
