Howdy!
We are Randy and Cindy. We have been full-timers on our boat since '06 and have always been interested in RV'ing. We used to tent camp in our younger days and have rented pop-ups and even a Class C in Alaska. But we are retired now and have been following the sun for the last 8 years. It's time to try something new. We have a contract on a 30' Class A and our goal is to spend the winters on the boat in the Bahamas and Florida Keys and spend the summers in the MH. Our plan for the summer is Maine and Nova Scotia.
I've been lurking on this list for a few weeks and have learned lots but I'm encouraged by the similarities between managing boat systems and those of an RV.

Welcome aboard! Maine and Nova Scotia are very nice places to be in the summer time. This is the place to talk about and ask questions about your RV.

Welcome. I can relate. Spent a lot of time on boats in the Bahamas and the rest on my MH. Glad you're here.

Welcome aboard Matey! Depending on what you bought you have on contract you could have a literal Land Yacht (Air Stream's newest are B's though). It's Howdy rwp48 time...
Hiya! and what gmullen said.

We to were liveaboards for five years before moving int the RV life style. Very similar elements of living.

We spent 20 years cruising part time in trawlers. We also find the similarities similar. Most impressive is the people are just as friendly and helpful as any you find in a marina.
You will hardly have time to take out your tool box before someone walks over and asks "Got a project?" Wife and I sold the trawler and switched to a motorhome 2 years ago and have never looked back.
