Howdy from Aggieland (Central TX)
DW and myself found out years ago (before the baby, now 6, was born) that we love to RV the roads of America. We have always rented from various places around Texas. This year we decided to buy a DP so we can travel a bit more.
We have 3 kids ages 6-12 we travel with. They love the road and adventures we have found while traveling more than us. We are blessed that we are able to enjoy the road as a family! We also like to hit 1 or 2 Texas A&M away games each season (God Speed Manziel). Having our own unit will make that even easier.
As a lover of all things mechanical and an avid DIYer, I have found this forum and site extremely helpful and entertaining.

Welcome to the gang and congrats on your DP wheels! What great fun to have kids that enjoy it all.
Oh....BTW.....have ya'll seen any of those folks in central Texas that have a unique way of using a ladder and a team to screw in a light bulb?....
