Smile Howdy from South Carolina

Howdy Everyone!

Don & June here, hailing from South Carolina. Although we have many years of camping under our belt it has been in tents and occasionaly a borrowed pop-up from our daughter and son-in-law. But, we knew we needed a lot more for our traveling plans when I retired, which occured last May. So, we ordered a custom version of the 2014 GeorgeTown 378XL in February 2013 and took delivery in May 2013...just days before my official retirement day.

In the past 10 months we have had a great time and have learned a lot about Motorhome life and traveling. We owe much of this to the many terrific RVers we have met along the way.

We know we have many great times to look forward to in the years ahead. Also, we look forward to learning and sharing on the iRV2 Forum.

Don, stop by for a visit. We're just up the road from you on Lake Greenwood. Give me a few weeks and we'll have the boat in the water (right now we're in the middle of a small construction project on our site) and we'll get you out on the lake.

First, many thanks to all who have so warmly welcomed us to the forum!

Rodney, June and I spent most of February camped in Ft. Pierce, Florida at a really nice campground just off I-95, so we missed the snow, the earthquake, and the train wreck in Newberry. Can't say I'm unhappy about missing all of that. However, I did feel the earthquake we had about a year ago...was just a mild tremor but nonetheless noticeable.
