Howdy From Texas

Hi there, New in Benbrook Texas. My wife and I have camped since we were married. Started out the usual way in a tent, then a popup. then to our present trailer, a Keystone Hideout 31RBDS. We love it for differenct reasons. My wife was wanting the bunk room for our dogs. I was wanting the outside kitchen. We both got what we wanted and the room is great. We tow with a 2013, Ford F250 Lariat. Good Truck.

We camp several times a year, mainly in the Texas State Parks System. Unfortunately we are on different work shifts so we don't have any days off together, therefor one of us is always having to put in for time off if we wanna get away. Our big yearly trip is Oklahoma City for the College Softball World Series. We just take the trailer up there for the duration and camp at a very close RV park. We love it.

Anyway, I'm not really longwinded, as a matter of fact I hate to talk, but thought I would get that out there..

It is great to find the "right Fit" Good Luck!

PS: The Softball World Series is a great Show-we watch it annually. Our daughter played a lot of Softball, but got a full scholarship to FSU for Volleyball. Enjoy the ride.

Welcome! Wait, you are from Texas and you hate to talk?? I am confused! Sorry, just could not resist. NONE of my brothers living in Texas have that problem. We have family all over the DFW area, just spent some time in Aledo with lots of them. My sister works in Benbrook. We camped at Possum Kingdom before it burned a year or two ago, and love the Lake Texoma area, especially near the Sherman-Denison area. But then we found Colorado, and the rest is history.

Yeah, we've got season tickets. We have no dog in the fight, we just love softball and the atmosphere. We actually met playing softball so it's kinda our thing. Or used to be before it started hurting so much to play and recover..

We live near Salida, holler if we can help with places to visit. There are quite a few of us Texans transplanted to Colorado.
