HOWDY from Texas

New Friends,

We are not only new to the forum but brand new coach owners, too.
(We bought a very low mileage/one owner 1986. Holiday Rambler Imperial MH, out of an estate sale, just yesterday.)

Fwiw, we split our time between McKinney & San Antonio.
(As I'm retired now, I'm a "near full-time volunteer" for TP&WD, a Texas Master Naturalist & Darla is an interior decorator.)

She is looking forward to redecorating our "new to us" coach to please her.
I, otoh, am looking forward to having a rig to hunt/fish & do my volunteer projects out of.
(Spending several nights nearly every week in a motel & constantly "eating out" "gets expensive", quickly.)

yours, Darla/Jim

Howdy from just down the street in Dallas

I lived in McKinney when the only thing at El Dorado/75 was a Saltgrass steakhouse

Howdy! I think you'll be pleased with your decision to get a Class A. Sleeping in your own bed every night, and using your own toilet, is a pleasure unequalled by any motel. I know -- I've stayed in some of the world's finest hotels, and I've stayed in some of the world's worst fleabags. Happy Camping!

qfs1943,

First things first: WELCOME HOME Brother-in-arms.

I suspect Darla, perfectionist that she IS, will replace the queen mattress/pillows that came with the HR with the same exact type as we have on our bed at home, right down to the sheets, electric blanket, etc.
(One of the first things that I learned about her, when she was a brand new bride, was to stay out of her way when she's "on a mission". = DETERMINED perfectly describes her.)

yours, Jim
