I have arrived
New member from Central Canada and on a quest for a new motor home in the 40 foot range to go full time in.
We (Irene and I) have our home about to be listed on the market and then we will pocket the profit after buying something for cash and head out east / wet in the summer and south / north in the winter.

Welcome aboard!!
Good hunting.
For Full timing
The first coach you buy will just be a tool to learn on...You will make rookie screw-ups, We all have......
So buy Used..find one that has everything You think you want and need to do what you wanna do.......
In a Year or so You will discover.....
What you love about your choice of coach..
What You can "kinda/sorta/mebbe"" tolerate with your choice of coach..
AND....
What You absof'nlutey HATE HATE HATE about that @#$%^&&^%$# coach....
THEN go find and buy that "Forever Coach"...That has what You really Want & NEED to do what you wanna do...
This is what We did..(bought used, made the mistakes.... then bought our "Forever Coach" 16 years ago)
Happy Hunting

Welcome to the forum. Lots of good info here for you to read up on. I agree buy a newer used coach first. Very few are lucky enough to make the first purchase their last one. Most buy 2 or 3 before ending up with their "coach forever one"
Good luck on the search and enjoy the adventure.

Welcome to iRV2! You're gonna love it here. Good advice on the thread. Our approach was to get as much coach as we could afford, that met our needs, and plan on keeping it for a good long while. And, as stated previously, unless you're printing money in the basement by USED 2-4 years old. Our Anthem was 2 years old, low mileage and not a scratch in or out. There are great finds out there. Happy coach hunting!

Thanks everyone.
Our present gasser is on the 'market' and may be sold. We are looking for a diesel unit to hit the road full time. Too many things to see and do before our numbers come up.

When "looking" for the replacement coach.. Dont just limit yourself to the "Big 3 or 4 manufacturers"
Go " look and DRIVE" the other Brands that are not as prevalent...
ie: Prevost conversions, Newell & Foretravel.... both new and used..
see our sig for what we did many years ago..and have never seriously looked for a replacement....Your "Forever Coach should last you a lifetime...

We are open to anything that fits our bill so to speak.
We've looked at many but have chosen none.
The serious side of looking comes when the house gets sold.
