Hi there: My wife and I are new Members on this Forum. We are from Corsicana, Texas I am a retired Texas Game Warden and my wife worked at a Bank for over 19 yrs.
We have been RVing for almost 6 yrs now . We started with a Fifth Wheel (Excel) and have ended up with a 2006 Fleetwood Revolution LE 40 FT. and really enjoy it.
we have done a lot of traveling in the last 5 1/2 yrs but last summer started work Camping summers only and really enjoyed it and we are going to work this summer in Colorado.
WE play Golf , ride our Harley trike and I try and shoot Prairie dogs when I get a chance.
This really seems to be a very good and informative site for Rvers and we are looking forward to learning from it.

Welcome, as ears perk at the sound of PD fire, one of the reasons for me to RV is the varmint hunting.

Nice to hear from you. I've seen a few of those revolutions at camp sites and they really look nice. Talking to people who have them leads me to beleive they have very few problems. I'm headed to Houston this year and would like some recommendations for camp sites near Katy. Some friendly chatter now and again is always informative.

Welcome aboard and hope you continue to enjoy the rig.
D in Dave, I don't know of any campground at Katy. At 290 and Eldridge, there is Traders Village, but have heard from several people that they are having a problem with break-ins an trucks and cars now.
At Brookshire (west of Katy there is a KOA (not sure it is still KOA). At SanFelipe, there is Stephen F. Austin State Park (has full hook ups).

I wish I could help you on RV sites in the Houston /Katy area but I cannot. I really try and Not go to those areas ,way too much traffic and when I do have to go there I try and not be in a RV. good luck when You come and like TXiceman said Traders Village is not where you want to be .
