Indiana Newbies

Hello to all...RV Newbies here..
Entering a new side of life for us...hubby and I just purchased an older 1989 Georgie Boy Cruise Air lll RV...Ford 460 engine, John Deere chassis. We have named her "Ginger" after my dad, actually it's in great condition for the year but we are in the process of replacing mechanical parts and up-dating the inside.

We are from the farmlands of Indiana and are planning on making a move in the Spring to Florida, God willing, in the RV. We have always devoted our lives to our kids, grand-kids and great-grand-kids, we feel now is our time for us to enjoy life together.

Was so thrilled to come across this site, one of the best I seen yet for sharing experiences and much needed information...which I'm so sure we will be needing since we are so new to this journey and owners of an RV...thanks so much for adding us to the group.

Welcome to the forum.

It sounds like you've enjoyed the journey so far and I'm sure you deserve and will enjoy your new journey together in the RV. I suspect a grandkid or two will spend some time in it with you.

Thanks...looking forward to that journey and your suspicions concerning the grandkids are probably correct...

Sunida2u,

Welcome to the forum. You will find lots of info here so ask away. Read some of the old threads as there is a lot of good info there. You will be able to understand better how things work on your rig. Also go to YouTube and enter anything Motorhome and you will have videos on how it works or how to fix it.

I keep seeing people in 5th wheels and MH's heading out of Michigan and wish I was one of them. Soon, Soon.

Enjoy your rig and glad you decided to finally do for the two of you. Congrats, Lynne

Welcome, be sure to find your way to the Ford Chassis Forum. Although you have a JD chassis, tons of info there on the Engine and running gear.
