Intro

Hi.

I’m Rodney. I purchased a 2004 32” Fleetwood travel trailer to live in and am in the process of making everything right. I’ve replaced a lot of subfloor due to black mold, replaced all flooring, resealed all windows and seams, added recessed leds, textured and painted walls, and fixed some plumbing issues and replaced a very nasty toilet. I’ve also replaced the bathtub and used galvanized sheet metal for the surround, and converted the back bunk area to a closet with an organizer.

I’m permanently disabled and this is a perfect solution for me and my Husky Lab. We live near Palm Springs currently but that’s subject to change.

I have 3 100watt solar panels and 6 6v interstate golf cart batteries from Costco

Things to do:
Inverter charger is charging but not inverting. Thinking about adding an inverter because replacing the unit costs more than I have.. I just don’t know if this is possible.

When fridge is running on propane there is a strong propane smell. Not sure where to start here. I opened the outside panel and I didn’t know what I was looking at so I’m continuing to search YouTube. 😮

I’m also adding a folding butcher block extension to the countertop.

Cabinets are almost done being painted.

Welcome to the forum.

You are joining a good group of folks here with good info to share. The propane leak is NUMBER one thing to fix...like yesterday.

Good luck on the remodel and enjoy the adventure.

Thank you.
I’m reusing that one, “between ditches”. That’s awesome.

Thanks momdoc. I haven’t turned the propane back on since that happened. I think I’m working up my skill level and saving this more difficult stuff til later. I’ve only had the Trailer a few months. I’m thinking I’ll remove that back panel and try to trace the gas line and maybe use some dawn dish soap to look for any leaks. The compartment is fiilthy so it could use some dawn.
