Introduction

Hi all. New guy to the forum. I’ve had travel trailer and camper for years and have just purchased a 1997 Country Coach intrigue from a friend. I have admired this coach for years and when they decided it was time to give it up we jumped at the chance.
I know I have tons to learn about the drive train on this coach. It is a Gillig chassis with the Cummins 8.3 mechanical I think it is called a 6CTA. The coach is pretty well maintained with 180K on it. It has a new rebuilt turbo and a re-cored radiator. New tires in front and all batteries replaced less than two years ago. All new brakes last year and good service history.
I know it will need new rear tires soon. I also plan to have the entire chassis gone over and inspected. I want to have rear wheel bearing inspected as well as the driveline and U joints.
Any other tips welcome. Look forward to learning from those with all the experiences and insights.
