Mike, I think you have your "Wizards" mixed up...... Homer was talkin about "RV Wizard" not "Kable Wizard".

But they BOTH are fine fellas that that we both have shared campfires with.

Ahh-Ha!

I just found among my worldly possessions, an original, unused, iRV2.com sticker; still inside the envelope it was mailed in. The postmark on the envelope is April 28, 2000.

I do believe that I have one of the original stickers filed away also. I'll have to dig it up.

Hey Mark!

Nice to "hear" from you. We're doing fine. We're workcamping on Long Island for the summer. We head back to Florida in November. Then NC in March for the summer.

We look forward to the FL Aires this winter.

I had 6 of the original 15 stickers I got way back from Bill. Handed them out where I camped, but a water leak in the old camper ruined the 6 I had left. I need to get a new one, since my pop-up does not have one.

Time flies! It's good to see the ol' timers still posting!

EDIT: I also have a golf shirt and a fleece sweatshirt with the old logo embroidered, and my name on it.... yep, I'm an iRV2 geek!

Just found this thread, since we were traveling in July and August when it was started. I seem to remember everything in Scott's post, does that make me old Don't seem lke it's been that long
Our original stickers are still on the motor home, but I slapped the newer ones on top of them , didn't realize they would become collectors items!

Warpath is the founder of IRV2.COM. So you could say he is "Da MAN" behind it all.

Bob came along a couple years ago. So he is the new kid on the block so to speak. (Acts like one too from time to time )

Bill and I didn't "buy" iRV2 as Bill is the founder of iRV2.
At that time there were several other "admin" members that came on board at Bill's request...DriVer and Hitchhiker still serve as active "admin" members today but "RversRus" has been moved to "Administrator Emeritus" status based on he and his wife's decision to travel more and be less active on the internet.
These administrators were instrumental, along with Bill (Warpath) with forming the firm foundation that iRV2 sits on today.
Based on a conversation Bill and I had several years ago I guess now, (would have to get you the date...), and based on my desire to see iRV2 grow, I became financially involved in the ownership aspect of the site.
I had been active as a Winnebago moderator and decided to call Bill one day and chat about the future of iRV2 and whether or not there was anything I could do to help.
An entry in my checkbook,a marriage and a lot of sweat, tears and hard work later, I think we're well on the way to making iRV2 one of the best resources on the web for the RV'er.

We appreciate each and every one of you that visit this site and hope we're always doing the things to keep you coming back.

Bob
