It has been a while...

My wife and I both grew up camping with our families in travel trailers. As young parents we tent camped with our 3 boys; eventually graduating to a popup. When the kids got to high school and college age we sold the camper because we could never find a time when we could all get away.
Now they are all grown and out of the house.
This spring we bought a Kodiak 242RESL travel trailer. We feel like are nearly novices with this type of camping in some respects. We are looking forward to many great adventures together.

Hi NOrientor

Your experience was just like ours. Started out in a tent, upgraded to a pop-up when the first child came along, then to a travel trailer with the second child, then sold it when the daughters became too busy to go camping any longer.

Then the girls left home, and I retired so we bought a diesel pusher and traveled the country.

Enjoy the forum, and post here often, OK?
