Joined irv2 9/21/2013 - Just now received new motorhome
Thanks to all of you who have provided so much good information and insight into the world of RVing. I've been following numerous threads for months and DW has joined in, too. The information has been invaluable (Hmmm....does that mean "not valuable?"). Uhhh....the info has been very helpful. We thank you!
I'm attaching a pix of our new wheels. It's a Jayco Precept 31ul. Drives so much better than some other 31 ft. motorhomes I have test driven. We're still pinching ourselves. Bought the Precept in advance of retirement so we can learn before we hit the roads in ernest.
We are on our "maiden voyage" this weekend with our two sidekicks Beau & Brodie (2 Westies). Now parked at a camp ground in Kisatchie National Forest...in pouring rain. Great check for leaks!
Welcome to other newbies who posted today. Maybe the harsh winter will back off and we can all get out there and have fun!
