Hi Bob,
I was new a few months ago and have already learned quite a lot by reading old posts and asking a lot of questions. Enter "used motorhomes" into a search engine and start looking. There are plenty of choices out there. Then come back here and ask questions and you will get a lot of answers.
We will not be buying until summer of 2015 and we needed some knowledge so came here. This is the right place for you. Go under vintage Rvs and look at a post called "total rebuild or redo" This is amazing!
Good luck with your search and maybe we'll meet some day out on the road. May you always have a beautiful view out your windows.

Welcome to the irv2 gang, Bob! Glad you decided to get involved before making the investment. Like others have already mentioned, we found most of our information right here in these forums. It took about a year for us to get it all together; purchased our MH in Feb. 2014. Good luck!

We started this wonderful RV lifestyle prior to the "internet". It has been like climbing a ladder, starting with a tent, then a pop-up, then a trailer, and a class-C with no bedroom, then a small 5th wheel, and of course the new pop-up just to make sure it is not what you think it was, but it was just that, so another class-C with no slides (what were we thinking!) before our current class-A Nat'l Dolphin.
Just think how much time the internet and sites such as this one could have saved us! Nah, then we would have missed out on all the family fun, and all those folks that bought our trade-ins would have missed out, too. Lots and lots of help here, just ask.
