Just bought a 2003 Cayman.
We've purchased our 2003 Cayman about 2weeks ago. Happy with it so far besides a few wear and tear items that will need replaced. Hopefully we can get some good gouge from this site. Family of 4 and dog will be embarking about a year from now on a journey across the US for an unspecified amount of time. We've never RV'd before and look forward to the challenge. I hope you researched that unit thoroughly. I believe that's one of the Monaco coaches that were recalled due to bad trailing arms. If not, it's an expensive repair and I would not be driving that unit.

Cracked Trailing Arm.....
So, I actually noticed that recall before I bought and informed the dealer I bought from. They told me my coach did not have any recalls. I trusted them. My mistake. Now I get to try to convince them it is in their best interest to make it right. Thanks for the info.

Also, not to be a Debbie Downer, but if it was repaired on a recall, the replacement arms are also prone to cracking.

Do you know if any arms are safe? I have a solid case against the dealer and I'm pretty sure they will have to make this right. Thanks for the help.

Fixed the trailing arms. ***New driver switches question
It took a little convincing but he dealer did the right thing and fixed trailing arms at no charge.
New issue/question. Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket panel for the drivers swithces? The one that holds the air dump, cruise, jacks, etc..
My switches keep coming unplugged and the design seems like it could be done better.
