Smile Just joined, just bought 1977 Nomad trailer!

Hi everyone. So excited to begin our RV journey. Looking forward to learning new things etc. When I was a kid we had a 1972 Superior motorhome and I loved camping in it. My husband and I are now around 6 decades old and are ready to not have to pitch that tent ever again!

Love those vintage trainers. I owned a 1967 Franklin at one time.

Can you please post pics of your Nomad? I remember that brand well. Back in the day, they were very popular.

Hi Debbie

We too have no interest in sleeping in a tent on the ground again.
Congrats on your new rig.

Happy Trails!

1977 Nomad 17' we just purchased. Needs some TLC inside and the front needs some rehab. Will be a fun project.

Hello and welcome! My wife and I full timed for a couple of years in a '76 20' Nomad travel trailer that we bought new in '76. We traveled around the USA with my work for a couple of years, and then traded it in for a '78 32' Holiday Rambler soon after our first son was born. We had some great times in that Nomad. At the suggestion of one of my aunts, I almost made a sign for our trailer that said "We No Mad, We Happy!"
