Just purchased a 1989 Elite 36' motorhome
Hello my name is Caesar and I just purchased a 1989 Elite 36' motorhome with 43,444 miles on the Cat 3208 turbo engine . I plan on using it to go to vintage motorcross races and traveling with my family. I found the motorhome near my home and it was in a pole barn .

Congrats! Had the same coach back in the 90's. Better made and better quality than many of today's coaches.

Never heard of one. It looks awesome! Is that a front engined unit? Looks like it has a nice small rear overhang. How well does the Cat pull it around?

Believe OP has a diesel pusher, but Elite did make front engine gas units from the early 80's to early 90's. Country Coach quality,
real wood throughout, gillig chassis, think 92 was the last year.

The engine is in the back and the radiator is on the side. I just got back from Buckeye Arizona pulling a trailer with dirt bikes and I got 8.6 miles per gallon at 60-65 mph. I have the 647 Allison 4 speed transmission with lock up torque converter. The generator is in front of the motorhome behind the grill.

How did it handle? I'd be sure to check the tire codes for dates. And I have no idea if yours is as nice as the link posted, but that thing has some real presence. Style for days, and heavy duty credentials. I hope they put a real hitch on it to match that huge tow capacity! Anyway, just know that I'm jealous.

It handled nice. It also has a nice custom receiver hitch. Those pictures that I posted in the first post are of my motorhome and the inside is immaculate. My trailer that I was pulling was full of motorcycles so I made room inside my motor home to bring back one more. lol

I only have one button that I don't know what it does. Any help would be appreciated here's a picture of the button. When I push down it pushes back at me.

That's the passenger ejection seat button
Or is it the driver ejection seat button? I forget.
