Just saying hello
Hello iRV2 group,
I have read and learned a lot from various forums. My family bought our first TT last year and fell in love with traveling around the Northeast and always having our second home with us. We got a great trade in price for our TT and in April we will be picking up our Fifth Wheel a Dutchman Denali (We chose this model for the floor plan) from Susquahanna RV in PA. We both work for a living but we have many adventures with our teenagers planned starting in April, Such as Knoebles, Fishermans memorial park, RI, Assateague , Jersey shore, and other places. I just want to finally say hello and I will take any suggestions on fun places to go. Mist one more thought on the Fifthwheel, We are financially capable of buying this unit, but did anybody else have a pit in there stomach about making such a purchase. I know there is always bigger and better out there, that's not the issue, I think it's just the big jump that makes me nervous. See you all out there on the road.

Same here on the pit re spending big money like we did to buy our motorhome today. But, if you're wise enough to be doing it when you can with your kids I don't think in the long run you'll ever look back with regret. But I've heard many who have regrets the other way - not taking the time, effort or money to be together as a family.
You're all in now - just enjoy the ride!!

Welcome to the site. Your memories have begun. The money was well spent. The family is together. Sounds like a winning situation. Safe travels.

Welcome! We were not able to make camping memories with our kids, but we intend to make them with our grandkids. Since you have the ability to do this now, I would consider it money well spent.

I agree with all the above. Anytime you can spend time with the family is a great time. Just sometimes - better that others . Let the memories begin. Hope to see you on the road.

Hi folks! Welcome to IRV2! It's great to have you join the bunch!
Congrats on the new rig! We pulled a 5er for 10 years before getting the MH last year. We loved it!
Don't worry, everybody has those butterflies! Just get out there and enjoy the time you have left with those teenagers! They grow up too fast!
You will find lots of good info over in the "Fifth Wheel Discussions" under "RV Forums". You'll probably have lots of questions as you get started with the new rig and that's a great place to find the answers!
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

My only regret is that we didn't do it sooner with our kids.
You are doing it right!
