Hello to All! I'm a new member and happy to be here. I found this site while trying to find some information on how to handle our RV problems. We are not new to RVing but are in a situation that we haven't experienced before. We recently purchased a 2017 RV from a local dealer. We purchased it on January 10. However the dealer did not get it ready for us until February 23. Got the RV home to our spot that evening and the furnace quit working. During that weekend we discovered 22 issues with it. From the furnace to the slides not extending out all the way, to the heat pump only blowing out one vent to outlets not working. Talked with the people in their maintenance facility several times but they couldn't figure out what the issue was. Took it back to the dealer on March 7 and got it back from the dealer on Wednesday the 15th of March. Brought it back and had to push out the bedroom slide because the motor wouldn't work, again. Been waiting on parts since then. Every time we call they say "let me check" and then never call us back. Beyond frustrated and don't even like the RV anymore. Looking for suggestions, please.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Congrats on the new rig! Sorry that you're having so much trouble. I would insist on talking with the General Manager. If you don't get immediate satisfaction, inform them that you will be turning their name in to the Better Business Bureau! You might also check to see if your state has a "lemon law" that would apply here.

Keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Glad to have you here in the forum with us.

I agree with contacting the general manager or the owner, the BBB would be next. Sadly this happens all too often.

Happy Trails!!!

Welcome and sorry for the trouble. We have had our rig for nearly a year now and still having issues with repairs. The dealer is basically useless and we for the last few months have been dealing with the manufacturer directly and things are starting to get resolved. Right now we are in storage till we return in June and then all issues should done with. Fingers crossed. Even with this we would not give up on the "RV world" and love out time out on the road.
