LA in winter-OH other months

Hello! Norm & I have had Itascas for 4 years, traveling the continent on and off to visit family. Now we spend most times near Dayton OH. To get away from frigid winter we spend J,F & M near Slidell, LA. No mosquitos or gators there then. The state parks are fabulous and the bike trails lovely. We belong to the Ohio WIT club Cardinals. Such wonderful people. If you are relocating to a different state, as we have, the WIT clubs are a valuable social connection.

Hello there, fellow Buckeye & welcome!

You're lucky. We sure wish we were able to get out of the cold, dreary, icy Ohio winters, but we're part of the "still working" class. Seems winter's come to OH early this year. Maybe that means spring will come early too....I hope so.

Check out the North Central & Pond Piggie Forums for regional campouts. We've all put our rigs to bed for the winter, so there isn't much of anything going on now, but as the warmer weather nears, plans will be posted. We'd love to have you join us.

Hope to meet ya sometime.

There is great need for a sarcasm font.
