Langley, B.C. here

We just bought a 2013 KZ Spree 261RKS. In fact, just picking it up today. We've had a 20' Coachmen TT for about 1.5 years. We are looking forward to the extra 9' and space. The bathroom alone can easily fit 2 people. Tons more interior storage space. Got the LX package with sandalwood exterior color and lots of options. Even managed to get a few custom nonstandard factory done mods/options.

We just bought an 09 F250 with a V10 in it. It's so much more truck than our old F150 with a V6. Now have a Reese dual cam hitch and can't wait to find out how the TT pulls with the new hitch and truck.

We have a campground membership at Beachwood Resort in Blaine, Wa. with KM Resorts. It includes Coast to Coast, RPI, Thousand Trails, Enjoy America and one or two others. We expect to pay off the membership fee in 3-4 years.

Number one item on our bucket list is to do a circle tour around the US in maybe 5 years or so.

Welcome from just across the border. We're fairly regular visitors to the area, as family members visiting from overseas usually fly into YVR, as they can get non-stop flights from Manchester, UK.

You'll find the V-10 quite a bit different from the older V8. We have one in our Georgetown. It seems to be an excellent engine. The major difference is that it runs at higher RPM than the V8 you're used to. Our old Class C had a 460 motor. Our rig can climb the east slope of SR20 at a steady 35 to 40 mph and the temperature stays in the middle of the green band all the way up, and still get close to 8mpg. Our old 460 (carb version) got completely messed up by atmospheric pressure changes. On the same climb, it overheated badly and was hard pressed to get 5 mpg! We only took it up there once.

Hello Frank & Eileen, you gave us some tips on travelling the Oregon Coast last year from the FR forum. We drove down the I-5 as far as Grants Pass and then down into Calif. before starting up the coast. Great trip, especially riding horses on the beach at Pacific City. What a crazy ride that was out of Grants Pass to the coast. We then came back via the ferry from Port Townsend and past your area.
