Late to the community
Just found this place, while looking for information on Duo Therm 4 button problem.
We live full time in a 33" TS 3 slide, 5th Wheel. It is our second unit. First was an 30' 2 slide, Alpha. We've been in this one nearly 3 years. Being medically retired (heart), we no longer travel, but are semi-permanently "dug in", with full time public utilities on private property.
We have lived about 6 years in RVs, over a period of about 10 years, . We have run the gauntlet of "maintenance" issues. And if we ever sell this one, we are not likely to get another.

Not sure of your age but I am 57 and I too had to medically retire bad back and heart trouble I have had 4 stents installed in the ticker and I still wanta go go go although there are days I can't. I always wanted a old car and a MH so I bought them both and use them all the time. Maybe you could reconsider.
Good luck and think positive, Tim

Thanks, guys for the welcome.
Spritz, I am 66 and wife is 65. I too love the old wheel vehicles of all kinds. But income doesn't let me indulge much. So, photography is my splurge.
I hope I haven't come across as complaining. Because I sure am not. It's just information. I have an extensive experience in mechanics, electrical, construction, heavy equipment, and the list goes on. so I can usually take care of the occasional "emergency".
I do have the dreaded 4 button Duo Therm thermostat in our 99' TS. I have had it apart, and soldered a broken connection. But it only works on low, and that is if I can actually get it to "engage", by carefully pushing and rocking the mode switch. And we know where that leads.
