Learning to drive an rv
Thinking about buying class a motorhome. No experience with a large vehicle. I don't want to go buy one and drive it off the lot with no experience.
Recommendations on "learning to drive an RV"

Welcome Rocketman. I was perusing YouTube for some "how to" vids and there were several interesting vids on driving, handling and parking including parallel parking. Some how to "read" your rearview mirror, where to place coach to turn and back. Picked up some good tips.

Welcome to the forum!
I had not driven a class A until I went to Camping World and started looking at C's and A's. They were good in that respect, that they allowed me to test drive a used model of each.
Tim has a good suggestion about watching youtube videos first.

I have seen that some dealerships will offer some driver training before you take it away but you might also consider going to Uhaul or some such and renting a moving truck for a day. Some of those are 30-40 feet and they aren't altogether different from driving an RV. Don't forget many RV's (gassers at least) are actually just built on a truck chassis like the Ford F-53. Choose your place and time wisely, you don't want to be trying to figure this out in heavy traffic or tight spaces until you get a little more comfortable with the room required to maneuver.

At least on your side of the pond you can use a car licence, in the UK we have to take a truckers licence to drive over 3.5 ton, and another if you want a Toad!!
Approx cost $2500!!

Driving and RV
Lucky for my husband and me, we both have CDL's for school buses. But I have always wanted to test drive a motorhome to see how they feel on the road. I am sure it is a much better ride than a school bus.
Our friends a one of those mega motor home and he said the next time they bring it to town, he would let me drive it eeeee 
Down the road we might actually buy one, wayyy down the road. But I like to do my homework early on and then ponder it for awhile.
At the moment we have an ALfa Sun 5th wheel that we pull with a Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel.
