LED Taillight question.

Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum. My wife's parents have an Itasca Horizon motorhome that they use quite often through out the year. My father-in-law has brought up the issue of wanting to convert the taillights and turnsignals to LED. I have done a few searches online, but havent really come up with anything. I have attached a few photos of the taillights and turnsignals for the rear of the motor home. Has anyone done a conversion on these or have an idea of where I can get something that might work for it? Any help would be great.

If there is a complete replacement for these things, that would be great as well.

Should be the led equivalent to a 1156 single contact incadesant bulb for the turn signal, and a 1157 double contact for the tail & turn.

Welcome to this great place of information. When I first bought the Journey in 07, we had the same tallights. I could not find same size replacements. I did find the standard 7inch LED school bus lights would fit. i then had seomone make a painted plate to fill in the rectangle backing. the lighs have a lifetime warranty and you just send back they replace no questions asked. the were about $35 each.

Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the group!

I can't help with your question, but I would suggest that you post questions over in the appropriate areas of the forum for best results. Not many folks hang out here in the Welcome area.

Maybe one of the Moderators will move your post over to another area.

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

What web site did you get the tail lights from?

I'm sorry I posted in the wrong forum. I just wasn't sure what one to post it in.

My itasca, welcome to the forum! Google the numbers on the lens and add LED to it. Sometimes Ebay is another source on part numbers. Good luck.

I also like what majfrizz did, probably a good solution.
