Let the fun begin

DW are planning to retire early next year. Our jobs have taken us to lots of places both domestic and international, now we're ready to see the back country of the U.S. and Canada.

We've done lots of power boating and sailing, had a pop up camper and tent. With all of our work travel we don't want to spend time in airplanes or hotels (although we have tons of points).

Our plans are to find a late model or new DP, 36-38 and take the two hounds and hit the road.

DW was thinking about a new car, with our plans in mind we found a new Honda 2014 CRV a week ago and started the transition.

We hope all of ya'll don't mind the many (and often stupid) questions heading your way.

Bud and Sue.

Can totally relate ... having been with the airlines more years then I want admit ... have seen many airports and hotels ,,,, but haven't seen the country ....
Shop wisely .... as you may find you want to spend more time "on the road" then your thinking at the moment .... find the coach you can truly live in for extended periods .... no sense in doing it twice.
Good luck with your search ..... the good news is that you're in the right place for good advice and a whole lot of opinions ..... Choose well !!

Glad that you joined the forum. Take your time in choosing your coach. It is not unusual to take one or more years to find the correct coach for you.

Welcome to the RV world ! Heck, you could tow a boat with your RV!
We just retired and have had an RV for 2 years. So much fun! The more you see, the more you realize how much is out there. Sometimes I wish I could reverse the clock so we'd have more years!
