Welcome!! Most of us here are probably more on the unfit side but if I were camped next to you I would be interested in your ideas on what I could do to become more fit.

Resistance bands are your friend! They take up almost no space at all and with a little creativity, you can work out just about anything you could do in a gym. We actually have fitness tips and videos and stuff on our blog if you're ever feeling motivated... :-)
(But mostly, coming from our class B, I'm just jealous of your rig.)

One of the best things you can do is go for a brisk pace walk of at least 30 minutes every day. Not a stroll, but a brisk pace that gets your heart rate up (of course check with your Doc first).
You'll get to really enjoy it, and so will Daisy.

Was walking four miles a day (at Golden Retriever speed) until I had a total knee replacement 5 weeks ago. One of the things they are using for my rehab is the resistance bands and I am thinking I may actually look into purchasing some.

Welcome to the forum and glad you joined us. Resistance bands???? I have some of those only I resist to use them. Just kidding. This BODY could use some help so I think I'll take a look at that blog. Enjoy your travels and hopefully see you down the road. Enjoy and Be Safe.

Come on down to MS and show me how to lose about 25 lbs!
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Wow. Thanks!
Worleybird - I think you had asked for pictures of the rig and remodel. I've posted a very detailed write-up with lots of pictures here: The RV Remodel.
(I don't see a remodeling forum, or I would have made a post there.)
I'm actually headed out for a jog now!

Just purchased a 2001 Alumscape 25ft. Have always camped in a Bigfoot 21 but wanted a walk around bed unit with a little more room. Found our 25ft close to home.
