looking around and getting acquainted
Hello - I am a hopeful-soon-to-be-rv-owner. I am considering being a full-timer. Just sold my house after living there 30 years, recently divorced, down-sizing, semi-retired, and ready to roll. I have been exploring rv class a options for the past 6 months and am close to knowing what I want. I do have a question (actually many questions, but would like to address this one) for wise RV-ers who have been in this for a while. What would you say the global footprint of a full time RV-er might be in comparison to a stationary home owner? I have been trying to research this as I am very concerned about our vulnerable planet but haven't had much luck. Any thoughts??

An RV's carbon footprint , will of course depend mostly on miles driven. Items like electrical use, propane use vs natural gas at the house, should be proportionally less, due to the reduced floor area. I'm not aware of any discussion on this in the forums.
But I will look around and get back if I find anything.

Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you decided to join the gang!
I would suggest that you post questions over in the specific areas of the forum that deals with the subject for best results. Not many folks hang out here in the Welcome area. Hope you enjoy the forum!
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
