Looking to purchase used RV

Hi! New member looking to purchase primo used Class A Fleetwood Gas 2006-2008 for full time living (33-35 ft.) I would like a Ford or Workhorse chassis/engine. But they one I found and can afford has a Chevy engine, with a 35E floor plan. I understand it is smaller than the Ford Triton V-10 engine. I live in and plan to visit mountainous regions frequently. Does it have enough power to get up the hills and mountains? What about a Terra LX for full timing? I am new to all this information and trying to read and understand all of this. I don't want to buy something and have regrets. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Try the classified section @ the upper part of the home page, you will get a wide variety to choose from. Good luck,

I think the Chevy engine is "bigger" going by the cubic inches. The Ford would rev higher to make HP/torque as a result. Either will do the job though.

from NH. The Fleetwood Bounder 35E is one of Fleetwoods most popular floor plans. You will have ample power with either engine offered to climb the mountains. The 35E with the bath and a half offers plenty of interior space. I know of no one that dislikes their 35E. Good luck in your search.

Howdy and welcome aboard. Have fun with your shopping experience. The one you found with the Workhorse chassis and "Chevy engine" will more then make enough power to get you where you need to go. The 35E is a very nice floor plan. Good Luck!

Hi and Welcome to IRV2! It's great to have you join the crew!

I would suggest that you post questions over in the specific areas of the forum for best results. Not many folks hang out here in the Welcome area so your responses will be pretty limited. Hope you enjoy the forum!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
