Lurker revealed
I've been lurking here for months soaking up your collected knowledge. At this point my head is about to explode with the force of a thousand soggy sponges.
We,'ve been out about 10 weeks, off and on in our little trailer and have decided to go full time.
We're recently retired and are going through the process of clearing out our home, selling it, etc.
We plan to purchase a late model diesel pusher and hit the road.
Any tips, hints, etc will be appreciated.
Teddy and Anne

Teddy and Anne,
Welcome to IRV2.
Check out RV.org. They rate RVs and have information on how to get a good deal from a dealer. Good luck with your hunt.

Keep in mind..
Your 1st coach is a learning tool..
BUY USED! & buy one with everything you "think" you want and will need..
As You will make mistakes and have booboo's We all have.....(sometimes more than twice..)
Within a year or two you will discover..about the RV
What you love about the RV...
What you can kinda-sorta tolerate with the RV..
And what you absolutely hate about that !@#$%^%$#@! RV.
Then you can go get what you should have gotten in the first place..
Happy Hunting
Remember!!!!
Every day you "put off" retiring...is just one LESS day you have remaining to enjoy being RETIRED !!!

Hi Teddy & Anne
Glad to have you here in the forum with us. You're gonna like it here.
In the Forums tab at the top of the page, in the drop down you will see a tab for Full-Timers. That might be a good starting point for questions and previous comments.
Happy Trails!!!

Welcome
I did the same thing in the beginning - lurker. I hung out on the Entegra forum mostly learning all I could about that line and next I learned all about Spartan chassis. I ended up buying my last coach first and in the end after two factory tours to Entegra bought a Luxury Line Newmar.
Set your sights on a brand and model and then research, then start looking. Knowledge is power.

you will eventually transform into an 'electrical engineer', either by choice, or by experience... but it will happen. You can try to 'book learn it' beforehand, but true life experiences are the best teaching moments - let it come slowly.
