Maine and Boats

We have a 2005 Winnebago Itasca we bought new in 2005 and we love it. Minimal problems in all of that time (mostly with HWH equipment). It has the basement AC (which we love, but worry about a bit). We take the coach to the Maine coast every year for a couple of months and have a boat stored there. We tow a 2015 Equinox and travel with a 12 year old Cockapoo. We like peace and quiet, beautiful views, ocean and late night campfires. Our favorite campground (pretty much adults only) is Saltwater Farm in Thomaston, Maine. I am a serious boater -- I put 2000 miles on the boat in two months last year.

Welcome aboard...
Did you say boat? That's our passion as well... Plan is to cruise 3 mos this summer. Maybe we should be over on a boating forum.
What kind of boat?
We spend a week on Pemaquid every fall.

Boat

Hey Don and Marge,

We have a classic 1968 Bertram Bahia Mar completely refitted and refurbished (if you can spend all that on a boat, why can't I have new carpet?), which i run out of Jeff's Marine in Thomaston. I absolutely love it -- we have had bigger boats in the past (35 Silverton, 28 Regal, 26 SeaRay). It's such a great area for boats and yet I am often on the water just with the commercial guys.
Feel free to contact me directly at alan.spear46@gmail.com.

Hey that looks like a beauty!
I'd hate to think of the hours invested it it but understand it's a labor of love.
