Michigan Senior Lady

Hello Everyone!

I am very excited to be posting. I have done no social media and this is a bit unnerving and exciting. Fortunately, I have read a lot over the past few days and feel this will not be like other social media.

I have been planning my retirement for sometime this Fall. I have been researching and taking notes on the pros and cons for a single lady of 65 doing this with no house to sell and gain money or a huge savings. [moderator edit]
I will continue to read this site. I won't have anything to contribute. I will be the background cheerleader those on this wonderful road in life.

Welcome to the forum. As my Mom would say...GO FOR IT!

You are joining a good group of folks here with good info to share. Read the various forums here and ask questions as they come up and add info when you can.

Good luck and enjoy the adventure!

One of the great things here is that you don't need to contribute. Folks that do contribute usually do it to help others that need it, and there you are.

Bonus: Ask questions where you have them. Someone might be asking and someone else answering that are both at a skill level higher than others. If you ask something about their thread that they're not already talking about, their answer will help you and others that don't understand all of it.

Welcome aboard!

One of the things I like about this everyone has something to offer. Sometimes only an encouraging word. We all need this at times. Even just to read the daily posts is a fun part of my day.
Kick back relax and enjoy.

By and large the RV community is a pack of easy dogs to hunt with. Most of us, whether weekend warriors or fulltimers, are passionate about our lifestyle. We all started from scratch at one time. Pull up up your camp chair, bri g your favorite beverage and welcome to the campfire.

Hi! I like moonlit walks on the beach, wine tasting, and.....Oops, wrong site!

Welcome. Great info here about just about everything related to your emerging lifestyle. No need to contribute. My routine is to read all the new posts every morning as I have my coffee. I've even exchanged some private emails with a few members about specific technical issues and these have turned into casual friend relationships. I will probably never share a campfire with any of them because of time and distance, but the modern version of a pen pal is nice to have, too.
