I am new to this forum, just retiring with plans to use our Class A coach a lot. We bought it used, but very well maintained. Of course, new tires and batteries are needed.

I was interested in anyones experience using the Blue Top Optima, 12V Deep Cycle D34M, AGM Spiralcell, made by Johnson Controls. It is the same size as the 6V Lifeline GPL-4CT and Deka 8AGC2M, so four could fit in the space of the failing Interstates. Costco price for the Optimas is $154 vs $275 for the Lifeline/Deka, so considerably cost savings. Also over 80 pound weight saving.

I am tempted, but would value anyones opinion.

If you have room for 4 batteries you should consider 4, 6volt Trojan 145's. I have room for only three so I use Costco Deep Cycle Marine, cheap and have a great warranty anywhere around the country. I know that they are not the best but have worked for us and we dry camp alot.
