My background and what I have

Hello everyone
I am a new RV owner and look forward to getting out and using our 1988 Gulf Stream Conquest 26'. My biggest problem in getting it leak proof and fixing it has been money to do the things that need to done. What is the best way to find the leaks?? Also what is the best product for stopping leaks? Thanks, Scott

Hi Scott! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Congrats on the new rig! Roof leaks can be really hard to find. I would get up there and closely inspect every opening for caulk that has cracked or come off. You can remove the old caulk with a heat gun (very carefully!) and reseal the opening with Dicor 501LSW or 502LSW self-leveling caulk, which you can find at most any RV dealer. Have fun and keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
