Hi, am new on here and note that there is not a lot of interest in a bus chassis motor home.
I have an Eagle, made in Brownsville TX. They used mostly by Trailways as compared to Greyhound and MCI. Almost all that you may see on the road were formerly used to carry passengers and have had lots of miles, yet highly favored by their owners due to the wonderful ride, no springs or air bags, They have a total torsion bar suspension that does not lean in a turn and just floats down the road. Highly desired by entertainers and others who do lots of travel.
Mine was factory made to be used as RV with 9" raised roof and raised driver seating on a Model 15 chassis...40 foot and 102" wide, 8V-92 Detroit powered.
There is quite a story about it's history. A 1990 chassis that was then hidden by the original buyer to avoid paying back a big loan. Found in late 1995 untouched since it left the factory and never had been registered with only 806 miles on the odometer. I bought it and then had it finished, when done in mid 1996 it then had 2227 miles and issued an AZ 1996 title because it was not previously registered. Now has a Texas title.
Since then I have put every mile on it, now 134,000 and probably the lowest mileage Eagle in existance as most others were over-the-road or charter used.
Love to drive it but at 81 I am now unable to care for it much longer due to medical issues so will soon putting it up for sale....
